The objectives of the Jerrabomberra Residents’ Association are:
(1) Represent the Jerrabomberra Community in community matters pertaining to the Jerrabomberra area with the:
(a) Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council,
(b) Government bodies; and
(c) Other community organisations and organisations.
(2) Inculcate a community spirit and create a sense of unity.
(3) Develop and promote interaction within the Jerrabomberra Community.(4) Develop, co-ordinate, encourage and support community and sporting clubs and facilities in the Jerrabomberra area.
(5) Endeavour to protect, maintain and enhance the natural environs of Jerrabomberra.
A person is qualified to be a member of the association if the person is a resident of Jerrabomberra, postcode 2619.
Committee meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is always welcome, and you can be involved as much or as little as you like.
You don’t need to attend the meetings or arrange special events; it’s all about being involved with your local community. If this interests you, contact us or just come along. Annual membership costs just $5 for an individual and $10.00 per year for a family.
