The objectives of the Jerrabomberra Residents’ Association are:
(1) Represent the Jerrabomberra Community in community matters pertaining to the Jerrabomberra area with the:
(a) Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council,
(b) Government bodies; and
(c) Other community organisations and organisations.
(2) Inculcate a community spirit and create a sense of unity.
(3) Develop and promote interaction within the Jerrabomberra Community.(4) Develop, co-ordinate, encourage and support community and sporting clubs and facilities in the Jerrabomberra area.
(5) Endeavour to protect, maintain and enhance the natural environs of Jerrabomberra.
A person is qualified to be a member of the association if the person is a resident of Jerrabomberra, postcode 2619.
General meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7.30pm, everyone is always welcome and you can be involved as much or as little as you like.
You don’t need to attend the meetings or arrange special events, it’s all about being involved with your local community, if this is of interest to you, contact us or just come along. Annual membership costs just $5 for an individual and $10.00 per year for a family.
